Based in Hermantown, Minnesota, I proudly serve clients throughout the Twin Ports region and surrounding communities within a 50-mile service radius. Meet Joe Cohen

Photography has been a passion of mine for more than a decade. Throughout that time, I've had the privilege of documenting weddings, engagements, surprise proposals, family milestones, and senior portraits for clients across northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

Every session is an opportunity to tell a unique story. Rather than relying on stiff poses or forced smiles, I focus on genuine interactions, authentic emotions, and meaningful details that make each experience one of a kind.

College Degree in Photography

My passion for photography is supported by a formal college education in photography, giving me a strong foundation in both the technical and artistic sides of the profession.

Professional photography involves much more than owning high-quality equipment. Understanding lighting, composition, posing, storytelling, color theory, editing, and visual design all play an important role in creating photographs that stand the test of time.

My education continues to influence every session I photograph. It allows me to confidently adapt to changing lighting conditions, create balanced compositions, and produce polished images while maintaining a natural, authentic style.

Having completed more than 350 photography sessions, I've learned that every client is different. My approach is always patient, encouraging, and personalized, helping you relax so your photographs feel genuine rather than posed.
